Bag holder
A bag holder , also known as a bag hook , handbag holder or handbag hook , is a decorative hook that can be used to hang bags , handbags or purses on a table top or chair armrest. It consists of a top that can be placed on the table and a hook for hanging the bag. Not only is it practical, it is also a fashionable accessory .
Structure and types
The upper part is usually round, the contact surface on the underside is made of felt or rubber. The top is designed decorative. A downward-facing hook is attached to this upper part, into which the bag is hung. The bag holder is usually packed in a box or a velvet bag. A bag holder weighs around 50 grams and can carry bags of several kilograms, depending on the version.
There are several types of bag holder. The L-shape has a round top and a rigidly curved wire as a hook. With the joint shape, the hook consisting of several links can be placed around the upper part. There are bag hooks with magnetic link holders. There are also pocket holders that can be closed to form a hoop by means of a spring or that are equipped with additional technical items such as a clock.
