Tug of war friends Bleifuss Dietenbach e. V. is a German sports club from Kirchzarten im Breisgau. The association was founded in 1989 and currently has around 100 members. The tug-of-war friends are currently (as of July 2019) in the Landesliga Südbaden in the 640 kg class.

history

The club emerged from a grouch team that initially took part in open tug-of-war competitions at public festivals. In 1989 the association became an officially registered association. In the following years he got bigger and bigger and was able to achieve several successes in the state and Bundesliga. The greatest success was the participation of individual athletes in various tug-of-war world championships, where they participated with the German national team.

Club crest

The club's coat of arms shows three tug-of-war men pulling a tree stump together. A bird sits on the rope, which encourages the three. The coat of arms was drawn by the Kirchzarten caricaturist Thomas Zipfel.
