Team line-up

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Team constellation is a variant of the organizational constellation, in which the members of a work team are set up in the room to illustrate the relationship dynamics within it. Basically, a distinction can be made between team constellations, where the individual deputies (of the individual team members) are selected from a group outside the team, and team-internal constellations (where each individual team member stands for himself).

Internal team line-up

In a team constellation, the social structure of the team is mapped physically (spatially and physically) and thus perceptible for everyone. So that the team members present get a deeper insight into the structure of their social system and find their respective roles more easily, these are set up under different orders and related points of view. Team constellations can be part of a team development process and take place in team- dynamic workshops under the guidance of a team trainer.

Internal team constellations take place with the team concerned. So it is not worked with substitutes (as in family or organizational constellations ), but with the (original) team present. Everyone stands for themselves, with their own biography, personal characteristics and current feelings.

Affiliations and rankings are fed back into the current feeling and through the formation of the team, each individual notes his current status . It becomes clear to him where he stands , how he stands , with whom and to what extent he has to deal with.

Any criteria are possible for the type of list, according to which the team members can arrange themselves: seniority, professional years, age, function, level of competence, position and level of responsibility, other values. In this regard, spatial ordering (such as moving up, moving up, making space, taking up or swapping positions) is carried out without much discussion. There is no need to discuss it (prematurely) for the time being. The well-being occurring in the respective position can be briefly communicated to the person opposite or to the person standing next to you or to the entire team in accordance with the order in which they are set up. So this can remain in the room as it does on the others on the team. Personal results are neither talked to nor questioned and these can remain for the time being (for possible later changes).

Internal team structure

A variant of the team constellation is the team-internal structure constellation (according to Prof. Matthias Varga von Kibéd ). Possible structural terms, such as the goal and the common , are also established here. The positions of the team members are first set up using so-called "space anchors" (floor markings). In the course of the process work, each team member can also take the place of every other team member and thus get to know the team from a different perspective.
