Technical advisor fire brigade is a qualified person in the fire brigade technical service who is available to advise the technical operations management.

(2) No management or operational command authorizations can be derived from the function as a specialist advisor.
(3) If necessary, the Ministry of the Interior shall issue detailed regulations on "specialist advisors for the voluntary fire brigade" in addition to paragraph 1.
The activity is carried out on a voluntary basis.
Specialist consultants have generally completed a scientific or technical degree at a technical college, technical college or university and are mostly chemists (assignments with chemical hazardous substances), molecular or microbiologists (assignments with biological hazardous substances), civil engineers / architects , electrical engineers or medical professionals . You are a member of the fire brigade, but formally not assigned to a unit, but in addition to your work as a specialist advisor, you can be a member of a unit and perform 'normal' service.
