history
The company was founded in 1985 by Giuliano Franchini with his brother Giuseppe. The origin of the company can be traced back to the fact that there was no suitable cleaning for the in-house winery. In the past, the pipes were chemically cleaned before they were then rinsed again with immense amounts of water to remove any residues. Since Giuliano was the chief technician in a company that specialized in steam generators, he developed his own solution. This solution was so good that neighboring winegrowers wanted to buy it too.
Today the company has three production halls with a total area of 7,500 m². A fourth production hall is being built on the 40,000 m² site.
internationality
Tecnovap almost tripled its sales since 2009. This is the result of an expansion abroad and the supply of manufacturers in the cleaning industry with white label devices. The industrial steam cleaners from Tecnovap are now sold in 74 countries. In Germany and Austria the products are sold exclusively by Cotraco GmbH. In addition to Cotraco GmbH, Hega GmbH is also active in Switzerland.
Products
In general, Tecnovap products can be classified as steam generators . Special industry solutions are offered for wine growers, the food industry (e.g. conveyor belt cleaners), for chewing gum removal and for car washing. There are also the main lines ("Edelstahlinie", "Chattanoogalinie") and more mobile products that can also be used at home ("Carmen"). Thanks to a wide range of accessories, the devices can be adapted to many usage scenarios. It is particularly interesting that the devices can also be individualized to meet customer needs.
The devices are available with a 6 or 10 bar working pressure (some with pressure regulators). They work with a steam temperature of 180 ° C. The high pressure cleaning function thus achieves a working pressure of 150 bar.
The industrial steam cleaners from Tecnovap are characterized by their high quality in production. It is the tungsten inert gas welding used to produce steam boiler without sealing rings. The steam boiler can withstand a pressure of 70 bar and is an essential factor for product safety. Tecnovap devices are known to be leaders in efficiency and usability as well as industrial steam cleaners with the lowest wear and tear and the best ecological balance.
Innovations
Tecnovap has integrated a number of innovations in the products. Among them the heating element, whose productivity (28 W / cm²) exceeds the current models (6 W / cm²). In cooperation with Cotraco GmbH, an innovative deep-freeze cleaning concept was also developed. The company holds among other things the patents on the "True Temp Technology" system as well as the "Thermal Compact Power".
The "True Temp Technology" system is a water level control that automatically refills the boiler with water. This means that steam is constantly topped up and you can work for a long time without breaks. In addition, because of its efficiency (regardless of the quality and temperature of the water added to the boiler), the True Temp technology is one of the most reliable systems in the world, which enables considerable cost savings and does not require maintenance.
The heating elements from Tecnovap, their productivity (28 W / cm²) is higher than the standard heating elements (6 W / cm²). In addition, the heating element itself is not in direct contact with the water, but encased with a special alloy and thus has a maximum heating output. Thanks to these technologies, a Tecnovap steam cleaner is ready to use in just 6 minutes. Three times this time is common on the market. Another advantage of this technology is that as the temperature rises, the heating element expands and the limescale that has formed on the heating element falls off. This "self-cleaning" reduces the maintenance effort considerably and the lower wear increases the service life.
