Yellow bridge to the tea room

The tea house or salon in the castle park of Tiefurt was built in 1805. Before that, a bark-clad pavilion stood in its place . It has a rectangular floor plan with two angular porches in front of it . The large, light-flooded windows and the hipped roof, which is reminiscent of Chinese models of pagoda construction , are striking . The walls consist of a half-timbered structure with brick lining. The tea salon is reminiscent of the tea party around Duchess Anna Amalia .

The yellow bridge leads over the Ilm to the tea room.
