Tegla from Denbighshire
Tegla of Denbighshire (also Tecla , Thecla , Telga , Welsh Tegla Forwyn , Tegla the Virgin ) was a saint who possibly lived in the 8th century . No details are known about her life. The church at Llandegla in Clwyd , Denbighshire, is dedicated to her. Every year for over 100 years , a patronage festival has been held there on June 1st on their commemoration day .
