Parts carrier

As part carriers mostly technical goods as are machinery, equipment, fixtures and vintage vehicles designated that only appear worthy of preservation because of their spent or incomplete state to use their items.

The classification of an object as a parts carrier is usually done by weighing the financial or labor-intensive effort against a new purchase with the same properties. For example, in the classic car industry, vehicles whose restoration would exceed the market value of an equivalent model are often stored as part carriers in order to remove intact spare parts.
