Tekke bazaar

The Tekke Bazaar (also Tikinski Bazaar ) is a bazaar in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan . It is located about four kilometers west of the city center and is held every Sunday .

The offer at the bazaar is extremely diverse. Fruit, vegetables and other foods are on offer, and flowers and Turkmen carpets can also be purchased. The market owes its popularity to prices, which are considered cheaper than those in the center of Ashgabat.
