Tela chorioidea (also: Tela choroidea) is a vascular layer of connective tissue formed from the soft meninges ( pia mater ). From there, small vessels enter and exit and form the choroid plexus , which forms the cerebrospinal fluid .

A tela chorioidea occurs in the pars centralis and the cornu inferius of the lateral ventricle , in the area of ​​the foramen interventriculare, in the third (only upper limit) and fourth ventricle .
