Telegraphic transfer

A telegraphic transfer is the short-term, mostly cross-border, electronic transfer of money. Most banks currently use the worldwide SWIFT system as a basis for communication . As a rule, orders should be securely executed within a maximum of three banking days - the time limit for the value date on the account of the payee can, however, vary from country to country.
