Templar and Johanniter is a historical novel by Ludovica Ezekiel .
The plot spanned the violent end of the Knights Templar between 1288 and 1315.
action
The hero of the novel Julian von Dorne is the son of a knightly family who settled in Cologne and who earned his first military service at the Battle of Worringen . Fighting on Cologne's side, he managed to ensure that the main enemy, Archbishop Siegfried von Westerburg , was not killed, but only taken prisoner.
He later became a Knight Templar . His unrest drives him into innumerable feuds in which he tries again and again to help the just side to victory. So he finally falls in a feud between the Archbishop of Cologne as his field captain.
