Teon

The teon was a measure of length in Burma . The Teon was the royal cubit and was used as a guide for other length measures such as Thit (finger width), Mehk (hand width), Thwch (span) and Teh.

  • 1 Teon = 2 Thwchs (span) = 3 Mehks (hand width) = 49.1 inches = 215.957 Parisian lines = 0.48513 meters
  • 4 Teons Länn = 1 / Lan ( fathoms or thread) = 1.9405 meters
  • 7 Teons = 1 Teh / Ta / Bamboo = 3.3959 meters
