Tepache

Tepache is a traditional Mexican drink that is often made and drunk in Mexican prisons. Pineapple , brown sugar ( piloncillo ), and water are the main ingredients in tepache. In addition, cinnamon and cloves are added for flavoring. Light beer can be added after 48 hours for further fermentation in order to improve the alcohol quality. It is served cold.
