Terezijana
The Terezijana is a multi-day cultural event that since 1995 in Bjelovar takes place. This event is organized in honor of Empress Maria Theresa , who ordered the construction of the city as a fortress in 1756. The Terezijana always takes place in mid-June. Since the Empress never visited Bjelovar, the focus of this event is a satirical-theatrical drama depicting the visit of the Empress. The city is visited by around 30,000 tourists from Croatia and abroad during this period, making Terezijana one of the largest tourist events in this part of Croatia. This festival is reflected as a traditional, cultural and tourist event. It is characterized by a number of artistic, sporting, scenic and musical events from all over Croatia .
Terezijana 2005
In 2005, the tenth Terezijana took place from June 17th to 19th. In addition to many cultural and entertaining events, the "Empress Maria-Theresia" also visited the city with her "servants". Bjelovar was also visited by a group of guests from Zagreb who came with the special train "Bjelovar Express".

Terezijana 2006
In 2006 this festival, organized for the eleventh time, lasted from June 15th to 18th. Most of the events took place in the courtyard of the renovated Yellow Barracks, where a large stage and seats for 600 guests were set up.
The program included:
- a fashion show for the youngest
- Appearance of the magician Jozo Bozo
- Children's festival "Big, Little Songs"
- Performances by: Anica Zubović, Elvira Voća, Višnja Korbar, Zdenka Kovačićek, Kemal Monteno, Krunoslav Kićo Slabinac etc.
- the last day was dedicated to Mozart
Terezijana 2007
The twelfth Terezijana was held in 2007 from June 15-22. One innovation this year was the attempt with the "Rockerijana" to give the young rock bands a chance to present themselves to a larger audience.
The program consisted of:
- Appearance by Vlado Kalember
- Enter the Baruni group
- Performance by the group Šliper and a concert by Maja Šuput
- Concert: Zagreb Dixieland Ensamble
- Concert: Etno Swing Trio
