The Tete Naulu is made from the woven fibers of the Aren palm . A wide ring is attached to the flattened head shell, which is decorated with geometric symbols. The helmet is often decorated with plant fibers or other materials. A false beard according to the European pattern, which is also made of plant fibers, is attached to the headboard. There are different versions that differ in decoration and design. The Tete Naulu is used by ethnic groups in Indonesia.
