The Thuringian Municipal Infrastructure Funding Act is state law ; The subject is the use of money from the federal budget that will flow into the Free State of Thuringia annually from 2014 to 2019 inclusive. The federal grants result from the Unbundling Act of September 5, 2006 , which was enacted as Article 13 of the Federalism Reform Accompanying Act of September 5, 2006 ( Federal Law Gazette I, p. 2098 ).

The law was enacted as Article 14 of the Thuringian Household Accompanying Act 2013/2014 of January 31, 2013 and was changed slightly in May 2016: two sentences were added to Section 1 (3).
