Thuringian white tailed

The Thuringian white tail is a breed of domestic pigeon and is one of the Thuringian colored pigeons .

The Thuringian white tail has a strong field pigeon shape with an almost horizontal posture. The twelve tail feathers and the tail cover feathers are required to be white in the breed standard , whereas the wedge plumage must be colored. The forehead is adorned with a white tip, which is smaller than that of other breeds.

The Thuringian white tail has been confirmed by the European Standard Commission for Pigeons (ESKT) of the European Association for Poultry, Pigeon, Bird, Rabbit and Cavia Breeding (EE) and is listed in the EE list of pedigree pigeons under number 452.
