Thalelaios
Thallelaios († 283/284 in Edessa ; ancient Greek Θαλλέλαιος , Latin Thalelaeus , German also Thalaläus) was a saint of the Orthodox Church.
The names of his Christian parents were Beroukios and Romylia (Βερούκιος, Ρωμυλία). He was a doctor and is said to have suffered martyrdom under the Roman emperor Numerian (283/284) in Edessa, Mesopotamia . His festival is celebrated on May 20th, with him the saints Asterius , Alexander and companions are venerated in Edessa. Thalelaios belongs to the group of Anargyri .
