The Giants Table , also Caherard (actually: Caher Ard, Irish Leaba an Fhir Mhuimhnuigh - German  "Munstermann's bed" ), is a wedge tomb on the Dingle Peninsula , a few 100 meters north of Ceann Trá (Ventry) in County Kerry in Ireland . Wedge Tombs ( German  "Keilgräber" ), formerly also called "wedge-shaped gallery grave", are aisle-free, mostly undivided megalithic buildings from the late Neolithic and early Bronze Age .

Like other Wedge Tombs on the Dingle Peninsula Doonmanagh , Maumnahaltora is surrounded by walls of upright stone slabs and covered by two flat stone slabs, one of which is very large. The dimensions of the wedge-shaped chamber decrease both in width and in height towards the eastern end. The chamber is covered by large flat stones, the one at the front of which is tilted. Originally the west-east-oriented megalithic complex was covered by a cairn made of small stones and earth.
