The International Cat Association , or TICA for short , has been an American organization since 1979 , the second largest in the world, that includes cats in a registry. The TICA has a sizable genetic register of pedigree cats and domestic cats . She is also one of the largest organizations exhibitions organized for cats and license.

One of the aims of the TICA is to teach its members responsible treatment of pedigree cats and domestic cats. Cat owners and breeders should work together to advance the health and welfare of cats. The TICA promotes public campaigns for the neutering of cats and influences the legislation on the health and welfare of cats.
