Master of Magic is a role-playing game that the British company Mastertronic published in October 1985 for the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum home computers .

While exploring a cave, the player was kidnapped into a magical world by the evil wizard Thelric. Thelric forces him to find the amulet of immortality for himself.

The music for the game is a cover version of the track Shibolet (1981) by Larry Fast and was adapted for the C64 by Rob Hubbard .

The German computer magazine 64'er described Master of Magic as a "not too complex role-playing game with elements [...] from adventure and action games". 64'er editor Boris Schneider-Johne praised the graphics, the "stunning" sound and the accessible gameplay.
