The Paradons were an American vocal group in the style of doo wop of the early 1960s.
history
The quartet was founded in 1959 in Bakersfield in the state of California established. In 1960 they got a recording deal with Milestone Records and recorded eight songs. Their first release, Diamonds and Pearls , peaked at number 27 on the Black Singles chart and number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100. The group joined a group. a. at American Bandstand and the Apollo Theater. The quartet broke up in 1960 due to financial disputes.
