The Times of Malta

The Times (formerly: The Times of Malta ) is a daily newspaper in Malta .

The English-language newspaper has been published since 1935. With a circulation of 20,000 ( The Sunday Times 35,000), it is the largest circulation format in Malta and is regarded as the Maltese “reference sheet”. The newspaper is owned by Allied Newspapers Ltd , a Strickland Foundation company. The foundation was founded by Mabel Strickland, a daughter of Gerald Strickland, 1st Baron Strickland .
