The e! DAL Plant Phenomics and Genomics Research Data Repository

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The e! DAL - Plant Genomics and Phenomics Research Data Repository (PGP) is a comprehensive repository for the publication of multi-domain plant research data . It is operated at the Leibniz Institute for Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK) in Gatersleben and provides data sets that can be referenced with DOIs , which are mainly not published in other databases due to their volume or type. PGP enables the publication of very large data sets and is registered as a research data repository on FAIRSharing.org and re3data.org and entered as an OpenAIRE valid EU Horizon 2020 archive. PGP fulfills the FAIR data recommendations "findable", "accessible", "interoperable", "reusable". The PGP repository is based on the e! DAL infrastructure software and follows a "bring the infrastructure to the data" (I2D) approach.

Database

All reviewed and published data are stored at the IPK Gatersleben and given a DOI for long-term citation.

Submission of data

PGP accepts data that comes from the European plant research community.

German Network for Bioinformatics Infrastructure (de.NBI)

The e! DAL-PGP repository is part of the service portfolio of the GCBN (German Crop BioGreenformatics Network) node of the de.NBI network.
