Theater cosmos
The Theater Kosmos (own notation: Theater KOSMOS ) was in 1996 by the two artistic directors Augustin Jagg and Hubert Dragaschnig launched with the aim of life, a professional theater and an artistic whole project in the Greater Bregenz to create.
According to the concept of the theater, only world premieres and Austrian premieres are to be staged. Until spring 2005, the venue was the back stage of the Bregenz Festival Hall . Since autumn 2005 the theater has had its own house in the Schoeller 2welten area (also called “shed8”) and stages 4 theater productions there every year.
In addition, the theater presents a series of accompanying events such as “KOSMOS Discourse”, “Young Authors”, “Jazz in the Foyer” or “Dance and Music in Dialogue”.
