Theogenes was a politician of the late 5th century BC. From Athens .
425 BC Theogenes was sent out with Kleon to investigate the situation in Pylos . 421 BC He belonged to the Athenians who swore an oath on the peace of Nicias and the Athenian-Spartan symmachía .
