Thermo-hygrometer with ventilation recommendation

The thermo-hygrometer is a measuring instrument for the simultaneous determination of temperature and humidity . These special combination measuring instruments are mainly used in common rooms and provide information on the indoor climate. The aim is to achieve a relative humidity of 50%; from 80% humidity, mold can form.

Depending on where they are used, such devices are often lavishly designed as home accessories.

The most favorable range (45 to 60%) of the air humidity is often marked on the hygrometer scale, which is particularly useful for the heating season . For measuring accuracies better than 10%, the device would have to be calibrated, while with the air temperature the errors i. d. Usually stay below 2 °.

Thermo-hygrometers are also used for measurements in special magazines in libraries.
