Thermochemical radius
If the lattice energy of a compound is known, a radius can be calculated for a non-spherical, polyatomic molecule that is consistent with this lattice energy. This radius is called the thermochemical radius . One uses thermochemical radii z. B. to estimate the enthalpy of formation of many compounds.
