Thomas publishing house

The Thomas-Verlag AG was a book and magazine publisher based in Zurich .

The Thomas Verlag was originally Catholic and also published anti-Semitic writings. It was a sole proprietorship and was called Thomas-Verlag, Peter Schifferle . In 1947 the Swiss politician James Schwarzenbach took over the publishing house, which was renamed Thomas-Verlag, Dr. James Schwarzenbach contributed and in 1955 it was converted into the stock company Thomas-Verlag AG .

In 1947 the Thomas Verlag published the bestseller I chose the freedom of the former Soviet diplomat Viktor Kravchenko .

It was disbanded on December 13, 1989.
