Thomas Kyte

Thomas "Tom" Kyte (* 1965) is an American database expert and author of books on the subject of Oracle databases . He ran the AskTom website , where he answers questions about Oracle. AskTom is an invaluable source of information for many Oracle users.

Thomas Kyte retired at the end of August 2015 and justified this by swapping the previously quite strenuous lifestyle for a more relaxed one. However, he would remain loyal to the Oracle community.

Thomas Kyte was vice president of Oracle Corporation and had been with the company since 1993. There is no information about his employee status after his retirement. He lives in Leesburg, Virginia .
