Thrashgrinder is a Finnish crossover and thrash metal band from Helsinki that was founded in 2008.

history

The band was founded in summer 2008 by singer Rodde Artiga. Shortly afterwards, bassist Jarno Olin, guitarist Patrik “Pate” Nuorteva and drummer Perttu Saarsalmi joined the line-up and recorded the EP Unjustifiable Dice of Violence in January 2009. A year later they recorded their debut album Seeds of Revolution and released it on the Mexican label American Line Productions in March 2010. Shortly afterwards, Niki Jurmu joined the band as the second guitarist. Performances followed in 2010 and 2011, including a tour of Mexico, Guatemala , El Salvador , Nicaragua and Costa Rica . After that, the band returned to work on new material. Nuorteva and Olin left the band and Janne Nurmi joined the band as the new bass player.

style

The band plays a mixture of crossover and thrash metal, with the band orienting itself towards the early phase of the genres.
