Three Drives (also: 3 Drives on a Vinyl ) is the joint music project of the two Dutch DJs Erik de Koning (DJ Enrico) and Ton van Empel (DJ Ton TB). At the end of the 1990s, both achieved a classic of trance with the track Greece 2000 .

Career

Koning and Empel produced the recording in 1998. It is largely based on a sample of the track Chinatown by the Italian disco band Cruisin 'Gang from 1984. The production initially wandered through the European clubs. In early 1999, the British dance label Hooj Choons released the track as a single, which then rose to number 12 on the British pop charts. From Greece 2000 numerous remixes emerged that were released under different names: Turkey in 2000 , USA 2000 , France 2000 , Italy 2000 , Germany 2000 , UK 2000 .

In the following years the two DJs landed further chart successes. In addition, around a dozen remixes were made for other DJs, including Mark van Dale , Yves Deruyter and Blank & Jones .
