Tibetan People's Party

The Tibetan People's Party (bod kyi mi mang chab srid tshogs pa བོད་ ཀྱི་ མི མང་ ཆབ སྲིད་ ཚོགས་ པ །) is a political party of the Tibetan exile community based in Dharamsala / India , where the Tibetan government in exile and the parliament in exile are located are located. In May 2011, Tenzin Rabgyal founded the Tibetan People's Party in order to increase pluralism in the democratic process of the Tibetans. The party stands for liberalism, willingness to enter into dialogue with the People's Republic of China and non-violence.

Its founding chairman, Tashi Wangdu, was the party's candidate for the 2016 prime ministerial election.
