Tim Sebastian (sports acrobat)

Tim Sebastian (* 1995) is one of the most successful German sports acrobats .

Life

Tim Sebastian studied civil engineering. He is a member of the Dresdner SC . In his club he specialized in the acrobatics discipline. He teamed up with Michail Kraft, who is active at SC Riesa . The first mutual successes soon emerged. They finished third at the 2015 European Championships in Riesa and won the bronze medal . They also achieved this place at the 2017 European Championships.

Tim Sebastian and Michail Kraft had their greatest success so far at the World Games 2017 in Wroclaw by winning the gold medal in the elimination match against Russia.

For this sporting achievement, Tim Sebastian and Michail Kraft received the Silver Laurel Leaf from Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on October 13, 2017 .

In 2019 he and his partner won a bronze medal in combination at the European Championships in Israel and became European champion in balance.

In 2020 he ended his career because of the corona crisis.
