The Tipu Dayak is a spear from Indonesia.
description
The Tipu Dayak has two points. One runs straight from the shaft, the other bends shortly after the shaft and then runs in a U-shape parallel to the other tip. Both blades are pointed and barbed . Legend has it that the Dayak would strike with such force that the enemy can pull himself up by the shaft of the spear to kill the bearer of the spear. The second, curved tip of the Tipu Dayak (indon: "The Dayak deceive") is intended to prevent this fall, as the second tip prevents it from being pushed onto the shaft. The Tipu Dayak is used by ethnic groups in Indonesia. The simplest spear in this region is the Semai bamboo spear .
