Table template

A handout is in the academic and administrative language a short document of mostly one to two pages in A4 format , which prior to the start of a presentation is made available to all listeners are available. It is intended to facilitate the intake of information, the subsequent discussion and any decisions that may result from the lecture.

Table templates can be in the form of a thesis paper , represent a table of contents , but also offer additional information (e.g. figures) that would delay the presentation too much. At universities, the form is based on the practice of the respective institute, while in the administration, depending on the provisions of the rules of procedure , applications are also submitted as table templates.

A table template that is somewhat more detailed than a thesis paper is considered a “handout” in the narrower sense. On about three to eight pages it contains the structure (chapter) of the lecture, the most important details and theses, some graphics, the bibliography and web directory and, if possible, an outlook.
