Titus Quinctius Atta
Titus Quinctius Atta († 77 BC ) was a Roman comedy poet and a main representative of the fabula togata . In forms adopted by the Greeks, he represented Roman fabrics.
Only fragments of his twelve known pieces have survived. He is said to have achieved particular mastery in the representation of female characters and in the portrayal of Roman family life. The twelve titles are: Aedilicia , Aquae caldae , Conciliatrix , Gratulatio , Lucubratio , Materterae , Megalensia , Nurus , Satura , Socrus , Supplicatio and Tiro proficiscens .
