The Tofua National Park ( English Tofua National Park ) is a 49.9  square kilometers large National Park in Tonga . Established in 2001, the sanctuary is the largest in the country after Ha'apai . It covers almost the entire area (55.63 square kilometers) of the island of Tofua with the equally named volcano Tofua and offshore waters of the Pacific . Tofua lies in the Tonga Trench .

The Tofua National Park is home to the rare Fokai .
