Tomáš Drucker (born July 20, 1978 in Bratislava ) is a Slovak politician. In 2016, he was briefly Minister of the Interior of Slovakia .

Drucker studied applied computer science and automation technology at the Slovak Technical University in Trnava , then completed a law degree at the University of Trnava .

In the wake of the political crisis in Slovakia , which solidified with the murder of journalist Ján Kuciak and his girlfriend, Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák came under pressure over allegations of corruption. He then resigned and Robert Fico appointed Tomáš Drucker as Minister of the Interior. As Minister of the Interior, Drucker was only in office for three and a half weeks from March 22 until his resignation on April 17, 2016. Like his predecessor Kaliňák, Drucker drew the resentment of many Slovaks after he refused to fire the national police chief, Tibor Gaspar. After the double murder of the journalist and his girlfriend, regular demonstrations had developed across the country, the central demand of which was the release of Gaspar. When he resigned, Drucker said that he did not consider it right to fire the police chief who, in his opinion, was doing very well because of the pressure of the street. However, he does not want to divide society further and is therefore stepping back.

Drucker succeeded Denisa Saková as Minister of the Interior. She also initially employed the former police chief Tibor Gaspar as an advisor in her ministry. However, when public pressure became too great, Gaspar resigned from his position.
