Towma Arzruni ( Armenian Թովմա Արծրունի ; † 904–908), also Thomas Artsruni, T'ovma Artsruni, Arcruni or Ardsruni , was a historian and spiritual scholar (" Wardapet ") from the medieval kingdom of Vaspurakan in southwestern Armenia , between Lake Van and the great Zab .

At the end of the 9th century he wrote a history of the house of Arzruni . This work is the main source for the region before it was added to the Byzantine Empire in the 11th century . Two unknown compilers continued the history work into the 12th century. Arzruni drew on the writings of predecessors such as Moses of Choren's History of Armenia and Elišē's History of Vartan and the Armenian War.
