Tone triangle

Clay triangles are used in the chemical laboratory. They are placed on a tripod or tripod ring in order to glow crucibles over a flame, e.g. B. to incinerate a substance sample in the crucible.

A clay triangle is made up of metal wires and three tubes made of clay. Triangles for particularly high temperature loads (including alternating loads) are equipped with quartz glass tubes instead of clay tubes.
