Ringer secondary device

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A second ring tone device ( TZG ) is a special version of a telephone socket that enables calls from a primary telephone to be signaled acoustically and visually at remote locations.

In addition to signaling the call directly on the telephone, which is in a certain location, remote simultaneous signaling, for example in other rooms, can be implemented using the secondary tone call device. In the case of incoming calls, for example, a light-emitting diode flashes and / or an acoustic signal sounds.

Depending on the version of the secondary ringing device, a telephone can be connected via a TAE socket.

Application examples

  • Loud environments: A light-emitting diode or incandescent lamp as a visual signaling device can ensure that incoming calls are heard in environments with excessive background noise.
  • Remote rooms: If the user is more frequently in other rooms in the house than in the one in which the telephone is located, better accessibility can be achieved.
