Tony Burke
Tony Burke (born November 4, 1969 in Australia ) is an Australian politician .
Life
After finishing school, Burke studied art and law at the University of Sydney . From 1997 to 2003, after completing his studies, he worked for the Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees' Association . In October 2004, he succeeded in moving into the Australian House of Representatives as a member of the Watson constituency . Burke is a member of the Australian Labor Party .
Between December 2007 and September 2013, Burke was a member of the Australian Government as minister with different areas of responsibility under Kevin Rudd and Julia Gillard .
