Pot sausage

Pot sausage (Pluntwurst, also “Accident”, “Dead Grandma”, also called “Lose Wurst” in Altmark) is a dish made from Grützwurst or Blood Sausage .

Onion cubes are fried in a pan and the crushed grützwurst is heated in it until it takes on a mushy consistency. Sauerkraut and boiled potatoes are often served as a side dish.

The pot sausage similar to the popular in Hesse and Thuringia weckewerk .
