Topographic map (GDR)

Under the name Topographic map were in the GDR topographic map series produced in different scales.

It was decided in 1952 to include the territory of the GDR on a scale of 1: 10,000. It was completed in 1969.

The issue 1: 25,000 for state and especially military use (issue for the state - AS) bore the note "Confidential classified information".

From 1966, the topographic maps (edition for the national economy - AV) were published in the scales 1: 10,000, 1: 25,000, 1: 50,000, 1: 100,000, 1: 200,000, 1: 750,000 and 1: 1,500,000.
