Torq-Set is a screw drive that was developed for torque-critical applications and is widely used in aviation. Similar to a Phillips screw , it consists of four flanks, which are, however, offset asymmetrically so that the forces act vertically on the flanks when tightened. Opening with a conventional Phillips screwdriver is not possible, which is why it is sometimes used as a security screw on consumer devices.
