The Torre Branca is a 108.6 meter high iron observation tower in the Sempionepark in Milan .

history

The tower was designed by the architect Gio Ponti , erected within two and a half months and inaugurated in 1933 as part of the Triennale di Milano . It was originally called Torre Littoria . After the Second World War document? it was renamed Torre del Parco . From 1972 it was closed. The distillery of the Branca Brothers (" Fernet Branca " and others) had it restored and made it a record in 1997 ? open to the public for the first time; she gave him his current name.

A lift with a capacity of 5 to 6 people leads up to 99 meters of the steel structure in about 90 seconds. On some days the tower is also open in the evening to see Milan at night. At the foot of the tower there is a disco with a pub and a restaurant.
