The Torre Reforma

The Torre Reforma is a skyscraper opened in 2016 in the Mexican capital Mexico City . At a height of 246 meters, it was the tallest building in Mexico until the 280-meter-high Torre KOI was completed in 2017. The skyscraper was designed by LBR & A Arquitectos, the architect in charge was Benjamin Romano. The construction time was eight years.

The building is located on the Paseo de la Reforma , one of the most important boulevards in the city. In the immediate vicinity is the 226 meter high Torre Mayor , together they were nicknamed “Non-Twin Towers”. The skyscraper has 57 floors, 14 floors each have their own vertical interior space. On the 22nd floor there is an auditorium with a view of the city.

In 2018 the building received the International High- Rise Award .

Architectural features

The building has a triangular floor plan, two facades are made entirely of concrete. The distinctive structural concept is intended to make the tower earthquake-proof.
