Torre de la Escollera
Torre de la Escollera was the name of a 206-meter-high, 58-story skyscraper in Cartagena , Colombia , construction of which began in 2005 and which later had to be demolished.
During construction, the steel frame supports between floors 28 and 40 suffered damage from strong winds on May 13, 2007, twisting the building by one meter. Construction stopped and the Bolivar Engineers and Architects Association recommended demolition, which took place between July and November 2007.
